Brilliant!
What an awesome podcast! Just recently discovered this podcast and I am obsessed! The hosts are truly captivating each with their own style. I love their storytelling--Kyle is quick-witted with a sharp sense of humor and Adam's voice--smooth as liquid gold. Loving each and every episode. My favorite so far is "Rodriguez"--such a fascinating story! Please, sir, I want some more. Keep 'em coming, Adam and Kyle!!

A perfect way to spend a long walk!
Being a Mum of a toddler and with one on the way, I'm always looking for a good podcast for long walks to the park and late nights up with a sleepy baby, and I am so thrilled to have found Compendium! It is such a refreshing, and funny listen, where I'm literally learning so much about history each week. I love the chemistry and natural banter between Kyle & Adam and really enjoy that they both are discovering the stories along with the listener. The subjects they cover are completely varied and not topics I have thought much about before however I'm really enjoying finding out about important moments in history that I knew nothing about . The story of The Ranium Girls has stayed with me and I bought my Mum a book all about it. I had no idea! I love the jovial manner of the Podcast and really enjoy the intro part of each episode too where they catchup on their week, as it sets a great tone. Lovely guys, great listen. I would highly recommend it! Thanks a lot!

Definitely worth listening to!
Each episode is a semi-deep dive into a compendium of topics from pop culture phenomena (Village People) to lesser-known (but should be known!) disasters (Balloonfest!). The hosts, Adam and Kyle, are natural storytellers with their lighthearted approach and their wit! So much fun to listen to!!! Highly recommended!

Constantly Fascinated and Intrigued

Enjoyable!
I’ve been listening to this podcast every day on my bike ride to work. Adam and Kyle are humorous and easy to listen to. I am especially taken with how they told the Ariel Castro story as a survivor story about Michelle, Amanda, and Gina - instead of focusing on the shock and awe of the awful ordeal. I enjoy the light hearted conversations and not-too-detailed overview of interesting events.
